Supporting our community
At RideWise we value and respect the communities that we support and in which we work. As a charity, we rely on receiving funding from government bodies, local authorities, public health bodies, donations and private businesses and clients. Every penny we receive goes into providing training, support, education and information to the communities in which we operate.
We want to make sure that everyone has access to healthy and sustainable transport through cycling and so we provide specialist services for young people, those with mobility restrictions or additional needs and people who may be vulnerable road users.
We want to make cycling a possibility for everyone, regardless of age or ability. And, by doing so we want to make Nottingham and Nottinghamshire a safer, cleaner, less congested and healthier place to live.
As part of our work as a charity we operate alongside our sister organisations – the Big Wheel and TravelRight. They provide support for all modes of sustainable transport including walking, cycling, trams, trains and buses.
Together we want to make better cycling communities.
