Notts' Rural Rides programme is coordinated by RideWise Ltd, a not-for-profit social enterprise whose purpose is to provise accredited training to the public to enable people 'to cycle more safely more often'. we also run Group Ride Leader course when we have sufficient demand as well as regular DIY Cycle Maintenance classes.

Group Ride Leader Training

We provide a one day training course aims to equip you with a good working knowledge of leading cycling groups
Courses are held throughout the year at the Lenton Centre, Willoughby Street, NG7 1RQ
Entry requirement – You need to be working towards or have National Standards Level 2 (having cycle skills for off road and quiet roads)
 
If you are unsure of your level, sign up for cycle training at www.ridewise.org.uk and click on the “make a booking” tab – we’ll give you free lessons to get you up to scratch
