Group cycle training and free social bike rides to help you keep fit and active.
Cycling is a great way to exercise and become more active; it has many benefits and can easily fit into your daily routine. We offer group cycle training and regular easy social bike rides from various venues around Nottingham to build your confidence and your activity levels. Cycling just 15 minutes a day can have massive health benefits – and it’ll be kinder to your pocket than the alternatives.
*Training is free for Nottigham City residents - if you don’t live in Nottingham City you can still come along to the training but it will cost £30 for five lessons… and remember, our social bike rides are free for all!
Group cycle training gives you the confidence and skill to get cycling and cycle safely either off road or on road. It’s ideal for newcomers and you set the pace – so even if you’re not confident on your bike, you can be sure that the course will work for you. It’s also a great way to keep in shape.

We run group cycle training courses and group rides from:
- Lenton Abbey Park, NG9 2SD (first & third Saturdays of the month)
- AMC Gardens, The Meadows, NG2 2HZ (second and fourth Saturdays of the month)
- King Edward Park, Sneinton, NG3 2AS (second and fourth Saturdays of the month)
- Bulwell Forest Recreation Ground, (off Hucknall Road) (first and third Saturdays of the month)
