Ways To Help

Ways we can make things better, together.

There are lots of ways that you can support RideWise. From cake bakes to sponsored walks and cycles. From financial donations to spreading the word. And simply by thinking about how you travel and encouraging others to do the same.

As a charity, we rely heavily on donations and grant funding to enable us to run our projects and provide free services to communities across Nottingham. Any donation could make such a difference, so every amount is always appreciated, not just by us, but also by the people in our communities.

We're always in need of volunteers. Volunteers can support our Community Cycle Centres to help support and encourage people to learn how to ride a bike. Other opportunities are on our trade stands at events as support for our staff who share their passion for cycling and walking.

Why not have a bit of fun and raise sponsorship through group challenges, bike rides, walks or bake days? They're great ways to show your support and contribute. Pop over to Just Giving to find out more!

Donate a Bike

Do you have a bike that you no longer need? We'd be really grateful if you'd consider donating it to us,,,

Our volunteer mechanics will refurbish it and give it a new lease of life, or if it's beyond repair, we may be able to use some of the parts to repair other bikes.

You can bring your bike(s) down to us at Lenton Abbey Park, NG9 2SF. We're open between 9am and 3pm, from Tuesday - Saturday. We can also arrange for the bike to be collected within reasonable traveling distance.

Click here to let us know if you've got a bike that you'd like us to collect.

Donated bikes are used for our many community projects which might involve providing cycling lessons for all ages and abilities at our cycle centres, or loaning them out from our RideWise bike library.
